Autumn Fairs

In my opinion, there's NO better time than fall.  Living in New England during the fall can be absolutely breathtaking.  On top of fall fashion, which happens to be my favorite... fall brings along a TON of things to do outside!  This weekend is the last weekend of The Big E, an outdoor exposition full of food, outdoor country concerts, carnival rides, vendors, oh... and did I mention FOOD?  Here's the PERFECT fall fair attire...



I love the idea of wearing a burnt orange plaid shirt, jeans and tucking them into boots.  Comfortable, yet extremely fashionable!  This look never seems to go out of style.  Look for pictures soon of my fun at the fair!  Enjoy! :)

I love this dress that I got from H&M recently... I paired it with my boyfriend blazer and black flats for dinner! Hopefully I can continue to get away with dresses/skirts without tights... but I sense that streak coming to an end quite quickly.  I'm ready for fall nights... bring it on!

Hartford's Best Dressed

Michael Kors Bangle!

So excited that my new Michael Kors Buckle Bangle arrived from Nordstroms today! It goes perfect with my gold MK watch and will become a staple for me! Love how it resembles the Cartier LOVE bangle but for a fraction of the cost!

Fall Colors

Even though it's technically still summer, today was such a beautiful fall day for an outside brunch with the family.  I'm wearing my favorite Seven For All Mankind Skinny Jeans, Riding Boots and a light knit sweater.  The leaves are already changing here in CT, enjoy the last days of summer!

For summer and fall, my favorite color to accessorize with is cognac.  I bought this Marc Jacobs bag last spring and have been adding other items to my collection that match it: belts, heels and sandals.  I'm in love.  It's Labor Day Weekend ALREADY, hard to believe... fall will be here before we know it.

Boho Inspired

I had purchased a black knit maxi skirt that I talked about in my last post and was dying to wear!  I paired it with a basic white tank top and a long flowy vest.  I love maxi skirts and dresses because they are so comfortable and yet make your outfit look entirely put together.

I recently purchased a beautiful black maxi skirt from TJMaxx! I first saw it at Nordstrom's for $58, but ended up getting it for $20!  It's so versatile - I'm going to pair it with a tank and sandals now and use it with a chunky sweater and boots for fall!  Happy hunting!
