I am so in love with the beautiful scenery in Hoboken.  I have loved taking my pictures in front of different backgrounds, and the old brick and alleyways really give them some character and texture... especially in this floral dress.  The temperature has dropped significantly over the past few days, so I'm not sure how much longer I'll be able to go without a winter coat in these posts.  I'm crossing my fingers that fall stays a little longer, but SNOW is in the forecast the next few days!  Hope everyone has a happy and safe Halloween weekend!  xoxo

On the Hudson

I am lucky enough to be spending the week in Hoboken with my boyfriend Raja while we both work.  I've been working from the hotel while he works in northern NJ.  The pictures are from one of the piers on the Hudson River, right in front of where we're staying.  Hope you all enjoy these gorgeous pictures that Raj took, he's becoming quite the photographer helping me out!

It's Finally Here: Hartford Magazine's Best Dressed Issue 2011

Yay! I can't believe it's finally out! I took these photos over a month ago for Hartford Magazine's annual Best Dressed issue.  Here are two of the photos that were featured on the website.  I can't wait to get home and see the print version in my mailbox! A shoutout to Paulette Mertes Studios in West Hartford for an amazing job, and of course, my lovely co-worker Marsha for submitting me!  Who would have ever thought?!

Lace

I love this lace top that I got at 344 last spring and I've been able to wear it every season so far!  I bought these knee socks years ago and LOVE wearing them under boots with just a little of the knit showing at the top.  My riding boots have taken a beating since I practically live in them... I've already worn them several times as you've seen on my blog.  I find that the more worn-out they get, the better they look!  I'm so sad to see this beautiful weekend end, but check back for more pictures this week!

Fall Favorite: Fur Vest

I'm wearing my absolute favorite trend for this season, the (faux) fur vest! This piece keeps my boho-look alive for the fall and winter and most importantly, it's cruelty free.  I also picked up these black skinny pants at one of my favorite discount department stores, Century 21 for $50! (Retail: $198)

I'm so excited to introduce two new pieces to my fall wardrobe that I have been on the hunt for! I purchased these black suede BCBG wedges a few weeks ago and was waiting for a chilly night before wearing them. They are the most comfortable pair of boots I own and I can't wait to wear them all winter.  If you follow me on Twitter, (@OhSoGlamBlog), you'll know that I did some damage at the Woodbury Commons Outlets in New York this weekend.  I bought this beautiful Michael Kors Hamilton Tote at the Outlet store! Gotta love getting great deals on gorgeous designer bags!

Since this outfit is very neutral, it needed a pop of color... hence the red lip. More posts coming this week!

Leather Chic

I picked up these "liquid leggings" or faux leather leggings at Forever 21 more than 3 years ago for about $13.  I have worn them numerous times and I keep finding new ways to wear them year after year.  This time I paired them with a cream colored flowy tunic to balance out the edginess of the leather.  This outfit is actually super comfortable (although it doesn't look it!) and it's perfect for a night out on the town!
