New Years Eve is FAST approaching... and if you don't have anything to wear, you better hop to it! We're only 3 days away! I always think of NYE as one of the few times a year to go big or go home and this year will be no exception!  Since you know I'm on a sequin binge, it only made sense to show off some of my dream outfits full of sparkle and and all about GLAMOUR.  Now if only I had an unlimited bank account...

I can't believe Christmas is over already!  The weekend went by so fast and I don't want to take down the tree!  You would never know it was even winter by the looks of these pics with the green grass and lack of snow.  Raj and I went for a walk on the beautiful Kingswood Oxford campus - it's a beautiful private school down the street from us. I added this denim shirt to my collection a few weeks ago and have honestly worn it over five times already! I'm now on the hunt for a lighter wash version... and have been Pinteresting like a maniac for outfit inspiration!  Follow me on Pinterest here!

Christmas Weekend

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! I had a wonderful weekend with Raj and our families. Raj surprised me with this beautiful David Yurman bracelet which matches the ring he bought me earlier this year, and I couldn't be more grateful... it's stunning! My brother got me these adorable leopard Sperrys I had been eyeing for months! I love that they are leopard to add a little GLAM to boat shoes.  Now all I need is warmer weather!

Looking forward to another day of relaxation and celebrating New Year's Eve next weekend!  Hope you had as merry of a Christmas as I did!

Cozy

I can't get enough of this fur vest!  It has very much become my fall and now winter staple.  Oddly enough, yesterday was considered the first day of "winter" - but if you were anywhere near CT, you would know it sure didn't feel like it with temperatures in the 50's and even 60's... global warming, anyone?  I do always like a little snow on the ground... BUT JUST FOR CHRISTMAS.  Feel free Mother Nature to go right back up to these temps December 26th so I can continue to get away with these fall-inspired ensembles.

Bold Prints

H&M oversized floral top, James Perse long-sleeved tee, Seven for All Mankind jeggings, BCBG wedges, Michael Kors watch and bangles.

I loved the colors of this floral top from H&M... it's very oriental-inspired and extremely beautiful.  I kept the rest of the outfit simple with a plain black tee, jeans, and my favorite wedges.  My hair is parted down the middle with both sides twisted until they meet in the back, and then tied up in a loose bun.

Beauty Essentials: Pretty Lips

To keep my lips soft and healthy, I apply Palmer's Coco Butter Swivel Stick multiple times a day and before bed.  It's a MASSIVE chapstick that my boyfriend refers to as, "The Glue Stick," but MAN does it do the job!

For daytime, I love a nude lip look... Clinique's Tenderheart give my lips just enough natural-looking color while leaving them feeling light and smooth.  For a night-time, more dramatic look, I always find myself gravitating back to my favorite color, M.A.C.'s Retro, which I have been using since college.  It's a beautiful berry color that somehow seems to look great with my ever-changing skin tone throughout the seasons.

A new favorite is Revlon's Really Red.  A bargain at $7.99, I became more daring to try a bright red lip after going a little more on the blonder side.  I like to spice up a neutral outfit with this intense pop of color.  It's a perfect classic shade of red that is as timeless as it is on-trend at the moment.  Just make sure to apply VERY CAREFULLY and always use a mirror to check the lining and your teeth... that can be a hot mess waiting to happen.

We have totally been taking advantage of this beautiful northeast weather the last few days.  It's still been warm enough to pull off a light jacket during the day, but it gets chilly at night!  Raja and I recently invested in this new camera lens and have been playing around with the different features on our camera.  The New York City skyline felt very fitting in black and white.  Raj took so many beautiful scenic shots, it was hard for me to select the ones to post!  Hope everyone is having a GLAM week!
